तम् तु निष्पतितम् दृष्ट्वा सर्वे ते रजनी चराः ।
मुंचमाना महानादम् सचिवाः पर्यवारयन् ॥३-२५-४॥
tam tu niṣpatitam dṛṣṭvā sarve te rajanī carāḥ |
muṃcamānā mahānādam sacivāḥ paryavārayan ॥3-25-4॥
Translation
Seeing him (Khara) rushing forth, all those night-wandering Rakshasas and ministers, emitting loud roars, surrounded him.

खर को (राम की ओर) झपटते हुए देखकर, वे सभी निशाचर (राक्षस) और मंत्रीगण भारी गर्जना करते हुए उसे चारों ओर से घेरकर चले।
English Commentary
Seeing their leader charge ('niṣpatitam'), the collective impulse of the army kicks in. The 'sacivāḥ' (ministers/commanders) and the rank-and-file troops swarm around Khara to support his assault. The 'mahānādam' (great noise/roar) they emit is characteristic of Rakshasa warfare, intended to intimidate through sheer volume. The verse depicts the chaotic energy of the demon army converging on a single point—Rama—creating a pressure cooker situation in the ashram.

अपने नेता को आक्रमण करते देख, पूरी सेना और मंत्रीगण ('सचिवाः') उसका अनुसरण करते हैं। यह समूह मानसिकता (mob mentality) है। वे 'महानादम्' (भारी शोर) कर रहे हैं, जो युद्ध में शत्रु को डराने की एक रणनीति है। 'पर्यवारयन्' (घेर लिया) का अर्थ है कि वे खर को सुरक्षा दे रहे हैं और साथ ही सामूहिक प्रहार की तैयारी कर रहे हैं। यह कोलाहल राम की एकाकी शांति के विपरीत है। राक्षसों का यह समुद्र राम रूपी चट्टान से टकराने के लिए उमड़ पड़ा है।
