ततः त्रिशिरसा बाणैः ललाटे ताडितः त्रिभिः ।
अमर्षी कुपितो रामः संरब्धम् इदम् अब्रवीत् ॥ ॥३-२७-११॥
Tataḥ triśirasā bāṇaiḥ lalāṭe tāḍitaḥ tribhiḥ |
Amarṣī kupito rāmaḥ saṃrabdham idam abravīt ॥3-27-11॥
Translation
Then, struck on the forehead by three arrows shot by Trishira, Rama, filled with intolerance and anger, spoke these words in haste/wrath.

तदनन्तर, त्रिशिरा द्वारा माथे पर तीन बाणों से मारे जाने पर, अमर्ष (रोष) से भरे और कुपित हुए श्रीराम ने क्रोधपूर्वक यह कहा।
English Commentary
This verse records a significant moment: Rama gets hit. Being struck on the forehead (lalāṭe) with three arrows is a direct insult to a warrior's prowess. The terms amarṣī (intolerant/indignant) and kupito (angry) show Rama's emotional response. It is not pain, but the audacity of the enemy that provokes him. The specificity of "three arrows" mirrors the demon's name (Trishira) and suggests a simultaneous, coordinated attack from the demon.

यह एक दुर्लभ क्षण है जब श्रीराम को शत्रु का प्रहार सीधे लगता है। 'ललाटे ताडितः' (माथे पर मारा गया) दर्शाता है कि त्रिशिरा का निशाना कितना सटीक था। तीन बाण संभवतः त्रिशिरा के तीन सिरों या तीन प्रमुख गुणों का प्रतीक हो सकते हैं। राम की प्रतिक्रिया 'अमर्षी' (जिसे सहा न जा सके ऐसा क्रोध) और 'कुपितो' है। यह शारीरिक चोट से अधिक एक योद्धा के स्वाभिमान पर चोट है। श्रीराम का क्रोध उनके आगामी प्रचंड आक्रमण की भूमिका है।
