त्रिशिराः तु रथेन एव वाजि युक्तेन भास्वता ।
अभ्यद्रवत् रणे रामम् त्रि शृंग इव पर्वतः ॥ ॥३-२७-७॥
Triśirāḥ tu rathena eva vāji yuktena bhāsvatā |
Abhyadravat raṇe rāmam tri śṛṅga iva parvataḥ ॥3-27-7॥
Translation
Mounted on a shining chariot yoked with horses, Trishira rushed towards Rama in the battle like a mountain with three peaks.

जुते हुए घोड़ों वाले चमकते हुए रथ पर सवार होकर त्रिशिरा रणभूमि में श्रीराम की ओर वैसे ही दौड़ा, जैसे तीन शिखरों वाला कोई पर्वत हो।
English Commentary
The simile comparing Trishira to a "three-peaked mountain" (tri śṛṅga iva parvataḥ) serves a dual purpose: it visualizes his physical monstrosity (having three heads) and emphasizes his massive, imposing stature. A mountain suggests immovability and crushing weight. Riding a "shining" chariot, he represents a formidable force of nature. This imagery sets the scale of the challenge facing Rama—he is not fighting a mere soldier, but a moving mountain of dark power.

यहाँ त्रिशिरा के स्वरूप और उसके नाम के बीच सामंजस्य स्थापित करने के लिए 'त्रि शृंग इव पर्वतः' (तीन शिखरों वाले पर्वत के समान) की उपमा दी गई है। 'त्रिशिरा' का अर्थ है 'तीन सिरों वाला'। यह उपमा उसकी विशालता, कठोरता और अचलता को दर्शाती है। उसका 'भास्वता' (चमकता हुआ) रथ आसुरी वैभव का प्रतीक है। यह चित्रण शत्रु की भयावहता को बढ़ाता है, जिससे श्रीराम की आगामी विजय और अधिक गौरवशाली प्रतीत हो।
