Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
त्रिभिः त्रिवेणून् बलवान् द्वाभ्याम् अक्षम् महाबलः ।
द्वादशेन तु बाणेन खरस्य स शरम् धनुः ॥ ॥३-२८-३०॥
tribhiḥ triveṇūn balavān dvābhyām akṣam mahābalaḥ |
dvādaśena tu bāṇena kharasya sa śaram dhanuḥ ॥3-28-30॥
Translation
The mighty one cut the three bamboo poles of the chariot with three arrows, the axle with two, and with the twelfth arrow, he cut Khara's bow along with the arrow set on it.

बलवान श्रीराम ने तीन बाणों से रथ के त्रिवेणुओं (बांस के रक्षक डंडों) को, दो बाणों से धुरे (axle) को, और बारहवें बाण से खर के बाण सहित धनुष को काट दिया।
English Commentary
Rama completes the dismantling of the chariot and disarms the opponent. 7-9. Three arrows shatter the trivenun (the triple bamboo pole guard/support of the chariot). 10-11. Two arrows snap the aksham (axle), causing the chariot to collapse completely. 12. The twelfth arrow severs Khara's bow (dhanuh) while he was preparing to shoot. Rama has now stripped Khara of all technological advantages. The demon stands amidst the wreckage of his war machine, weaponless.

तेरह बाणों का हिसाब जारी है: ७-९. 'त्रिभिः त्रिवेणून्' - रथ के तीन मुख्य बांसों (जो जुए को रथ से जोड़ते हैं) को तोड़ा। १०-११. 'द्वाभ्याम् अक्षम्' - दो बाणों से पहियों के धुरे (axle) को तोड़ा। १२.
