ततः सज्यम् धनुः कृत्वा रामः सुनिशितान् शरान् ।
सु शीघ्रम् अभिसंधाय राक्षसम् निजघान ह ॥ ॥३-३-१०॥
tataḥ sajyam dhanuḥ kṛtvā rāmaḥ suniśitān śarān । su śīghram abhisaṃdhāya rākṣasam nijaghāna ha ॥ ॥3-3-10॥
Translation
Thereafter, having strung his bow, Rama very quickly fixed sharp arrows and struck the Rakshasa.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनंतर, राम ने अपने धनुष पर प्रत्यंचा चढ़ाई और अत्यंत तीखे बाणों को अति शीघ्रता से संधान (निशाना) करके उस राक्षस पर प्रहार किया।
English Commentary
The narrative moves instantly to action. Rama strings his bow ('sajyam dhanuḥ kṛtvā') and engages the target 'su śīghram' (with great speed). The focus is on the swiftness and efficiency of Rama's archery. He doesn't hesitate. 'Nijaghāna' here means he struck or hit the demon, initiating the physical assault with 'suniśitān śarān' (very sharp arrows).

संवाद समाप्त होते ही राम क्रियाशील हो जाते हैं। 'सु शीघ्रम्' (अत्यंत शीघ्रता से) दर्शाता है कि राम युद्ध में विलंब नहीं करते। उन्होंने 'सुनिशितान् शरान्' (अत्यंत तीखे बाणों) का प्रयोग किया। 'निजघान' (प्रहार किया/मारा) शब्द यहाँ आक्रमण के प्रारंभ का सूचक है। यह श्लोक राम की युद्ध-तत्परता (combat readiness) और फुर्ती को प्रदर्शित करता है।
