एतस्मिन् अंतरे देवाः चारणयोः सह संगताः ।
दुन्दुभिः च अभिनिघ्नंतः पुष्प वर्ष समंततः ॥ ॥३-३०-२९॥
Etasmin aṃtare devāḥ cāraṇayoḥ saha saṃgatāḥ । Dundubhiḥ ca abhinighnaṃtaḥ puṣpa varṣa samaṃtataḥ ॥ ॥3-30-29॥
Translation
In the meantime, the gods assembled together with the Charanas. Striking their kettledrums, they showered flowers from all sides.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इसी बीच, देवताओं और चारणों के समुदाय वहां एकत्र हो गए। वे दुन्दुभियां बजाने लगे और चारों ओर से फूलों की वर्षा करने लगे।
English Commentary
The tension of the battle releases instantly into cosmic celebration. The celestial beings (Devas and Charanas) act as the chorus/audience of this drama. Their immediate reaction—playing drums (dundubhi) and raining flowers—validates the righteousness of Rama's action. It marks the transition from the chaos of the battlefield to the restoration of order. This creates a stark contrast between the bloody corpse of Khara on the ground and the joyous, floral celebration in the air.

खर के वध के तुरंत बाद का दृश्य आनंदमय है। 'एतस्मिन् अंतरे' (इसी बीच) दर्शाता है कि देवता आकाश में पहले से ही युद्ध देख रहे थे और परिणाम आते ही उन्होंने उत्सव मनाना शुरू कर दिया। 'दुन्दुभि' (नगाड़े) विजय का उद्घोष हैं। चारण और देवगणों का आना यह सिद्ध करता है कि राम का कार्य केवल व्यक्तिगत रक्षा नहीं था, बल्कि 'देव-कार्य' था। ऋषियों और देवताओं के शत्रु का नाश होने पर प्रकृति और स्वर्ग दोनों हर्षित हो उठते हैं।
