अद्य ते भिन्न कण्ठस्य फेन बुद्बुद भूषितम् ।
विदारितस्य मत् बाणैः मही पास्यति शोणितम् ॥ ॥३-३०-६॥
Adya te bhinna kaṇṭhasya phena budbuda bhūṣitam |
Vidāritasya mat bāṇaiḥ mahī pāsyati śoṇitam ॥3-30-6॥
Translation
Today, the earth shall drink the blood, adorned with foam and bubbles, of you who are torn apart by my arrows and whose throat is severed.
हिंदी अनुवाद
आज मेरे बाणों से विदीर्ण और गले के कट जाने पर, तुम्हारे (शरीर से निकले) झाग और बुलबुलों से युक्त रक्त को पृथ्वी पियेगी।
English Commentary
The imagery turns visceral and graphic. Rama predicts the specific manner of Khara's death: a severed throat (bhinna kaṇṭhasya) and a body torn by arrows. The description of blood as phena budbuda bhūṣitam (decorated with foam and bubbles) indicates arterial spray or blood from the lungs/throat, signifying a fatal wound. The personification of the Earth drinking the blood (mahī pāsyati) suggests a ritualistic returning of the demon's essence to the dust.

यह श्लोक 'वीभत्स रस' का उदाहरण है। राम खर की मृत्यु का अत्यंत ग्राफिक (सजीव) वर्णन करते हैं। 'भिन्न कण्ठस्य' (कटा हुआ गला) और 'फेन बुद्बुद भूषितम्' (झाग और बुलबुलों से सजा हुआ रक्त) बताता है कि मृत्यु कितनी दर्दनाक और हिंसक होगी। 'मही पास्यति' (पृथ्वी पियेगी) कहकर राम यह संकेत दे रहे हैं कि खर का अंत अब इतना निकट है कि धरती उसके रक्त की प्रतीक्षा कर रही है। यह खर के मन में मृत्यु भय उत्पन्न करने के लिए कहा गया है।
