जनस्थाने हत स्थाने तव राक्षस मत् शरैः ।
निर्भया विचरिष्यन्ति सर्वतो मुनयो वने ॥ ॥३-३०-९॥
Janasthāne hata sthāne tava rākṣasa mat śaraiḥ |
Nirbhayā vicariṣyanti sarvato munayo vane ॥3-30-9॥
Translation
O Demon! When you are killed by my arrows and Janasthana is purged (of demons), the sages will wander fearlessly everywhere in this forest.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राक्षस! मेरे बाणों से तुम्हारे मारे जाने पर, जब यह जनस्थान (राक्षसों से) खाली हो जाएगा, तब इस वन में मुनिगण सब ओर निर्भय होकर विचरण करेंगे।
English Commentary
Rama paints a picture of the immediate future: a liberated Janasthana. The phrase hata sthane (place where the threats are killed) signifies the purging of evil. Rama asserts that the freedom of movement for the sages (munayo), currently restricted by fear, will be restored. This verse emphasizes Rama's role as the protector; the elimination of Khara is directly linked to the restoration of spiritual liberty in the forest.

श्रीराम यहाँ भविष्य का एक सुखद चित्र प्रस्तुत कर रहे हैं। 'जनस्थान' जो अब तक राक्षसों का गढ़ था, वह खर के वध के बाद ऋषियों के लिए तपोवन बन जाएगा। 'हत स्थाने' का अर्थ है वह स्थान जहाँ राक्षस मारे जा चुके हैं। यह श्लोक राम के वनवास के मूल उद्देश्य—धर्म की पुनः स्थापना और संतों की सुरक्षा—को रेखांकित करता है। खर का वध केवल एक व्यक्ति का अंत नहीं, बल्कि एक भयमुक्त समाज का आरंभ है।
