रामो नाम महातेजाः श्रेष्टः सर्व धनुष्मताम् ।
दिव्य अस्त्र गुण संपन्नः परम्धर्म गतो युधि ॥ ॥३-३१-१५॥
rāmo nāma mahātejāḥ śreṣṭaḥ sarva dhanuṣmatām । divya astra guṇa saṃpannaḥ paramdharma gato yudhi ॥ ॥3-31-15॥
Translation
"Rama is of great radiance and is the best among all archers. He is endowed with the qualities of divine missiles (astras) and has attained the highest proficiency in warfare."

English Commentary
This verse is the definitive assessment of Rama's martial capability. Akampana defines him as the supreme archer (Shreshthah sarva dhanushmatam). Crucially, he notes Rama possesses Divya-astra (celestial weaponry), explaining how he could counter mass numbers. The phrase Paramdharma gato yudhi implies Rama operates at the zenith of martial ethics and skill; he is the ultimate warrior. This shuts down Ravana's theory of divine intervention—Rama is simply that powerful on his own.
