असाध्यः कुपितो रामो विक्रमेण महायशाः ।
आप गायाः तु पूर्णाया वेगम् परिहरेत् शरैः ॥३-३१-२३॥
Asādhyaḥ kupito rāmo vikrameṇa mahāyaśāḥ |
Āpa gāyāḥ tu pūrṇāyā vegam pariharet śaraiḥ ॥3-31-23॥
Translation
When angered, the highly illustrious Rama is impossible to defeat in valor. He can stop the forceful current of a full-flowing river with his arrows.
हिंदी अनुवाद
क्रोधित होने पर महायशस्वी राम पराक्रम में असाध्य (अजेय) हैं। वे (अपने) बाणों से पूर्ण वेग से बहती हुई नदी के प्रवाह को भी रोक सकते हैं।
English Commentary
Akampana begins listing impossible feats to instill fear and caution in Ravana. He describes Rama as 'Asādhyaḥ' (impossible to be conquered/managed) when angry. The example provided—stopping a rushing river with arrows—demonstrates mastery over nature. This is not just martial skill; it is the power to alter the physical world. By citing the control over water (Jala), Akampana hints that Rama's prowess transcends standard warfare and enters the realm of the supernatural.

यहाँ से अकंपन राम की शक्तियों का अतिशयोक्तिपूर्ण (या दैवीय सत्य के रूप में) वर्णन करता है। वह कहता है कि 'कुपितो' (क्रोधित) राम को जीतना असंभव है। वह प्रकृति के तत्वों पर राम के नियंत्रण का उदाहरण देता है—बहती हुई नदी ('आपगा') के वेग को बाणों का पुल बनाकर या अस्त्रों के तेज से रोक देना। यह क्षमता किसी साधारण योद्धा की नहीं, बल्कि एक 'महाबाहु' या दिव्यास्त्र वेत्ता की ही हो सकती है। अकंपन रावण को बता रहा है कि राम का संघर्ष केवल सैनिकों से नहीं, प्रकृति की शक्तियों से भी हो सकता है।
