Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
स तारा ग्रह नक्षत्रम् नभः च अपि अवसादयेत् ।
असौ रामः तु सीदन्तीम् श्रीमान् अभ्युद्धरेत् महीम् ॥३-३१-२४॥
Sa tārā graha nakṣatram nabhaḥ ca api avasādayet |
Asau rāmaḥ tu sīdantīm śrīmān abhyuddharet mahīm ॥3-31-24॥
Translation
He can bring down the sky along with the stars, planets, and constellations. That glorious Rama can even lift up the sinking earth.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वह आकाश को, तारों, ग्रहों और नक्षत्रों सहित नीचे गिरा (नष्ट कर) सकते हैं। वह श्रीमान् (राम) डूबती हुई पृथ्वी का भी उद्धार कर सकते हैं।
English Commentary
The imagery expands to cosmic proportions. Akampana attributes to Rama the power to destroy the cosmos (bringing down the sky and stars) and to save the world (lifting the sinking earth). These are powers traditionally associated with the Supreme Lord (specifically Vishnu holding up the earth). Akampana is essentially describing Rama as omnipotent. The message is clear: Rama controls the macrocosm. Fighting him is not a battle of strength but a battle against the fundamental forces of the universe.

यह श्लोक राम के विष्णु-अवतार होने का संकेत देता है, भले ही अकंपन इसे पूरी तरह न जानता हो। 'नभः अवसादयेत्' (आकाश को गिरा देना) ब्रह्मांडीय विनाश की क्षमता को दर्शाता है। दूसरी ओर, 'सीदन्तीम् महीम् अभ्युद्धरेत्' (डूबती पृथ्वी को उठाना) वराह अवतार की स्मृति दिलाता है। अकंपन कह रहा है कि राम में सृजन और विनाश (Creation and Destruction) दोनों की शक्ति है। वह रावण को चेतावनी दे रहा है कि जिसका शत्रु ग्रहों और नक्षत्रों को हिला सकता है, उससे युद्ध करना मूर्खता है।
