शर अर्चिषम् अनाधृष्यम् चाप खड्ग इन्धनम् रणे ।
राम अग्निम् सहसा दीप्तम् न प्रवेष्टुम् त्वम् अर्हसि ॥३-३७-१५॥
Śara arciṣam anādhṛṣyam cāpa khaḍga indhanam raṇe । Rāma agnim sahasā dīptam na praveṣṭum tvam arhasi ॥3-37-15॥
Translation
You ought not to enter the "Rama-fire" blazing suddenly in battle—which is unassailable, with arrows for its flames and bow and sword for its fuel.

बाण जिसकी ज्वालाएँ हैं और धनुष-तलवार जिसका ईंधन (लकड़ी) हैं, युद्ध में अचानक प्रज्वलित हुई उस 'राम रूपी अग्नि' में तुम्हें प्रवेश नहीं करना चाहिए; वह अजेय (अनाधृष्य) है।
English Commentary
Maricha constructs an elaborate metaphor of war as a sacrificial fire. Rama is the fire itself (Rāma-agnim). His arrows are the tongues of flame (śara arciṣam), and his bow and sword are the fuel (indhanam) that keeps the fire raging. Maricha warns Ravana not to enter this blazing inferno. Using the term anādhṛṣyam (unassailable/invincible), he emphasizes that this is a force of nature that cannot be withstood. It is a direct warning: engaging Rama is not combat; it is self-immolation.

मारीच अब रूपक (Metaphor) का प्रयोग करते हुए राम को साक्षात् 'अग्नि' घोषित करता है। इस अग्नि का स्वरूप भयानक है: बाण इसकी लपटें (अर्चिषम्) हैं, और धनुष-तलवार इसमें डाली जाने वाली लकड़ी (इन्धन) हैं। जैसे पतंगा आग में कूदकर जल जाता है, वैसे ही रावण इस 'राम-अग्नि' में कूदने जा रहा है। 'अनाधृष्यम्' का अर्थ है जिसे दबाया या हराया न जा सके। मारीच स्पष्ट चेतावनी दे रहा है: इस आग से खेलो मत, जल जाओगे।
