Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
गिरीम् च सरिताः सर्वा राष्ट्राणि नगराणि च ।
समेत्य दण्डक अरण्यम् राघवस्य आश्रमम् ततः ॥ ॥३-४२-११॥
Girīm ca saritāḥ sarvā rāṣṭrāṇi nagarāṇi ca । Sametya daṇḍaka araṇyam rāghavasya āśramam tataḥ ॥ ॥3-42-11॥
Translation
Having crossed mountains, all rivers, kingdoms, and cities, they reached the Dandaka forest, and then the hermitage of Raghava.

पर्वतों, सभी नदियों, राष्ट्रों और नगरों को पार करके वे दण्डक वन में पहुँचे, जहाँ राघव (राम) का आश्रम था।
English Commentary
This verse continues the travelogue, emphasizing the vast distance covered. They fly over girīm (mountains), saritāḥ (rivers), and rāṣṭrāṇi (kingdoms). The zoom-in effect is complete: from the wide world, to the Dandaka Forest, to the specific target—Rāghavasya āśramam (Raghava's hermitage). The mention of "Raghava" instead of just "Rama" emphasizes his lineage as the scion of Raghu, adding weight to the confrontation about to unfold.
