एतस्य मृग रत्नस्य परार्ध्ये कांचन त्वचि ।
उपवेक्ष्यति वैदेही मया सह सुमध्यमा ॥३-४३-३५॥
etasya mṛga ratnasya parārdhye kāñcana tvaci |
upavekṣyati vaidehī mayā saha sumadhyamā ॥3-43-35॥
Translation
The beautiful-waisted Vaidehi (Sita) shall sit with me upon the invaluable golden skin of this gem of a deer.

इस श्रेष्ठ मृग की बहुमूल्य सुवर्णमयी त्वचा पर वह सुंदर कटि प्रदेश वाली वैदेही (सीता) मेरे साथ बैठेगी।
English Commentary
Following the intellectual arguments, Rama returns to the emotional core of his motivation. He visualizes the fulfillment of the act: sitting with Sita on the 'parardhye' (invaluable/supreme) golden skin. The use of the epithet 'sumadhyama' (fair-waisted one) for Sita highlights his romantic affection. Rama envisions this skin not just as a rug, but as a throne suitable for the couple in the forest. This verse confirms that despite quoting scriptures, Rama's primary drive is the desire to please his wife and share a moment of luxury and beauty with her amidst their austere exile.
