त्रिभिः लोकैः समुदितैः स ईश्वरैः स अमरैः अपि ।
हृदयम् निर्वृतम् ते अस्तु संतापः त्यज्यताम् तव ॥३-४५-१५॥
Tribhiḥ lokaiḥ samuditaiḥ sa īśvaraiḥ sa amaraiḥ api । Hṛdayam nirvṛtam te astu santāpaḥ tyajyatām tava ॥3-45-15॥
Translation
Even if the three worlds, along with their lords and the gods, were to unite against him, they could not defeat Rama. Let your heart be at rest; abandon this grief.

तीनों लोकों के, ईश्वरों (लोकपालों) और देवताओं सहित एक साथ मिल जाने पर भी राम को पराजित नहीं किया जा सकता। अतः आपका हृदय शांत हो, और आप इस संताप (दुःख) को त्याग दें।
English Commentary
Lakshmana employs hyperbole grounded in his spiritual conviction to reassure Sita. He declares that the combined might of the entire cosmos—the three worlds, the presiding deities (Ishvaras), and the immortals—is insufficient to subdue Rama. This statement serves two purposes: it glorifies Rama’s divine valor and aims to dismantle the premise of Sita’s fear. By asking her to make her heart "nirvṛtam" (at ease/content), Lakshmana acts as a counselor, urging her to abandon the grief caused by the deceptive cry. He is steadfast in his logic that since Rama is invincible, the distress call is logically impossible and therefore fake. This moment highlights Lakshmana’s rationality contrasting with Sita’s emotional turmoil induced by Maya.

लक्ष्मण सीता जी के मन में व्याप्त भय को दूर करने के लिए राम के पौरुष का अत्यंत भव्य चित्रण करते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि यदि स्वर्ग, पृथ्वी और पाताल—तीनों लोकों की समस्त शक्तियाँ, देवता और दिगपाल भी एक साथ आ जाएँ, तो भी वे राम का बाल भी बांका नहीं कर सकते। यह केवल भाई का प्रेम नहीं, बल्कि राम के वास्तविक स्वरूप का ज्ञान है। लक्ष्मण चाहते हैं कि सीता 'निर्वृत' (निश्चिंत) हो जाएँ। यह श्लोक राम की अलौकिक शक्ति और लक्ष्मण के आत्मविश्वास को दर्शाता है। लक्ष्मण का प्रयास है कि सीता जी भावनात्मक आवेग से बाहर निकलें और वास्तविकता को देखें कि राम अजेय हैं, और यह आर्त्तनाद (चीख) केवल एक मायावी जाल है।
