सर्व लक्षण संपन्नम् न्यग्रोध परि मण्डलम् ।
सत्य संधम् महाभागम् रामम् अनुव्रता ॥३-४७-३४॥
Sarva lakṣaṇa sampannam nyagrodha pari maṇḍalam । Satya sandham mahābhāgam rāmam anuvratā ॥3-47-34॥
Translation
"I am devoted to Rama, who is endowed with all auspicious marks, whose body has the perfect proportions of a banyan tree (Nyagrodha), who is true to his promise, and possessed of great fortune."

"मैं उन राम की अनुगामिनी हूँ, जो सभी शुभ लक्षणों से संपन्न हैं, जिनका शरीर वटवृक्ष की भांति परिमंडल (सुडौल/विशाल) है, जो सत्य प्रतिज्ञा वाले हैं और महाभाग्यशाली हैं।"
English Commentary
Sita continues to enumerate Rama's perfections, countering Ravana's disdain for the exiled prince. She describes Rama as Sarva lakṣaṇa sampannam, possessing all the physical signs of royalty and divinity destined for greatness. The term Nyagrodha pari maṇḍalam is a specific technical term from Samudrika Shastra (physiognomy). It indicates that Rama's height is equal to his arm span, a symmetry found only in Mahapurushas (Great Beings), symbolizing all-encompassing protection like a Banyan tree. By calling him Satya sandham (bound by truth), she highlights his most formidable weapon—his integrity. Unlike Ravana, whose power relies on boon-trickery, Rama’s power relies on Truth. Describing him as Mahābhāgam (of great fortune) corrects Ravana's myopia; Ravana sees a pauper in the forest, but Sita sees a glorious soul whose fortune is his righteousness, far exceeding Lanka's gold.

इस श्लोक में सीता राम के शारीरिक और नैतिक सौंदर्य का वर्णन करती हैं। 'सर्व लक्षण संपन्नम्' का अर्थ है सामुद्रिक शास्त्र के अनुसार महापुरुष के सभी ३२ लक्षण राम में विद्यमान हैं। विशेष शब्द है 'न्यग्रोध परि मण्डलम्'। इसका अर्थ है कि राम की भुजाओं का विस्तार उनकी ऊँचाई के बराबर है, जो एक उत्तम पुरुष (महापुरुष) की निशानी है, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे वटवृक्ष (न्यग्रोध) अपनी गोलाई में परिपूर्ण होता है। 'सत्य संधम्' (सत्य प्रतिज्ञा वाले)—सीता रावण को याद दिलाती हैं कि राम जो कहते हैं, वह करते हैं। यह रावण के लिए चेतावनी है कि यदि राम ने शत्रु-नाश का प्रण लिया, तो वह सत्य होकर रहेगा। 'महाभागम्' (महान भाग्य वाले) कहकर सीता रावण के उस कथन का खंडन करती हैं जिसमें उसने राम को 'राज्यहीन' और 'अभागा' समझा था। सीता की दृष्टि में, वन में रहकर सत्य का पालन करना ही सबसे बड़ा भाग्य है।
