Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
यस्य तत् पुष्पकम् नाम विमानम् कामगम् शुभम् ।
वीर्याद् आवर्जितम् भद्रे येन यामि विहायसम् ॥ ॥३-४८-६॥
Yasya tat puṣpakam nāma vimānam kāmagam śubham । Vīryād āvarjitam bhadre yena yāmi vihāyasam ॥ ॥3-48-6॥
Translation
Whose auspicious aerial chariot named Pushpaka, which travels according to one's will, was won by my valour, O gentle lady, and by which I travel through the sky.

हे कल्याणी! जिसका वह 'पुष्पक' नामक दिव्य विमान, जो इच्छा अनुसार चलता है (कामगम्), मेरे द्वारा पराक्रम से जीत लिया गया है, और जिससे मैं आकाश मार्ग (विहायसम्) में विचरण करता हूँ।
English Commentary
Ravana concludes this section of his boast by mentioning the legendary Pushpaka Vimana. He describes it as kamagam (going where one wishes/obeying the will) and shubham (auspicious/beautiful). He reiterates that this too was acquired through virya (heroism/force), not inheritance. He tells Sita (Bhadre) that this is the vehicle he uses to traverse the vihayasam (sky/atmosphere). By highlighting his ability to fly, he contrasts his celestial mobility and technological superiority with Rama, who is currently wandering the forest on foot. It serves as a lure—promising her a life of skylarking luxury—and a demonstration of his inescapable reach.

रावण अब अपनी सबसे कीमती संपत्ति, 'पुष्पक विमान' का वर्णन करता है। यह विमान 'कामगम्' है, अर्थात यह मन की गति और इच्छा से चलता है। इसे भी उसने कुबेर से 'वीर्याद्' (वीरता पूर्वक) छीना है। वह 'भद्रे' (हे भद्र महिला) संबोधन का प्रयोग करते हुए कहता है कि वह इसी विमान से आकाश (विहायसम्) में उड़ता है। यह सीता को यह बताने का प्रयास है कि उसके पास ऐसी तकनीक और साधन हैं जो मनुष्यों के लिए अकल्पनीय हैं। राम वन में पैदल चलते हैं, जबकि रावण आकाश में उड़ने वाले दिव्य विमान का स्वामी है। यह भौतिक ऐश्वर्य का अंतिम प्रदर्शन है जिससे वह सीता को प्रभावित करना चाहता है।
