गृहीते वर नारीभ्याम् धूयमाने च मूर्धनि ।
गन्धर्व अमर सिद्धाः च बहवः परम ऋषयः ॥ ॥३-५-१०॥
gṛhīte vara nārībhyām dhūyamāne ca mūrdhani |
gandharva amara siddhāḥ ca bahavaḥ parama ṛṣayaḥ ॥3-5-10॥
Translation
Held by excellent women, the fans were being waved over his head. Gandharvas, Immortals, Siddhas, and many supreme Rishis were present.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे चंवर श्रेष्ठ नारियों द्वारा पकड़े गए थे और इन्द्र के मस्तक पर डुलाए जा रहे थे। वहां गन्धर्व, अमर (देवता), सिद्ध और बहुत से परम ऋषि उपस्थित थे।
English Commentary
The scene is completed with the attendants—celestial nymphs fanning the king—and the courtiers, including Gandharvas (musicians), Siddhas (perfected beings), and Rishis. This creates a tableau of the celestial court (Sudharma Sabha) transported to the forest. It signifies that where Indra goes, the majesty and protocol of heaven follow him.

इन्द्र की सेवा में अप्सराओं (वर नारीभ्याम्) और स्तुति में गन्धर्वों की उपस्थिति स्वर्ग के दरबार जैसा वातावरण बनाती है। ऋषियों की उपस्थिति यह बताती है कि इन्द्र केवल भोग-विलास के राजा नहीं, बल्कि धर्म के रक्षक भी हैं, जिनका सम्मान तपस्वी भी करते हैं। यह 'सुधर्मा सभा' का एक लघु रूप है जो पृथ्वी पर उतरा है।
