English Commentary
The verdict is delivered by the Siddhas (perfected beings): "Etat anto Dashagriva" ("This is the end of Ravana"). This serves as a divine seal on Ravana's fate. The kidnapping is identified not as a victory for Ravana, but as the trigger for his termination. Contrastingly, Ravana is oblivious to this metaphysical sentence and focuses on the physical struggle with Sita, who is Vicheshtantim (writhing/struggling), continuing her resistance even as she is transported into the enemy's territory.
