भूषणानि च मुख्यानि तानि सेव मया सह ।
पुष्पकम् नाम सुश्रोणि भ्रातुः वैश्रवणस्य मे ॥ ॥३-५५-२९॥
Bhūṣaṇāni ca mukhyāni tāni seva mayā saha । Puṣpakam nāma suśroṇi bhrātuḥ vaiśravaṇasya me ॥ ॥3-55-29॥
Translation
Enjoy these excellent ornaments with me. O one with beautiful hips, (I have) the Pushpaka (chariot) belonging to my brother Vaishravana (Kubera)...
हिंदी अनुवाद
तुम मेरे साथ उन मुख्य (श्रेष्ठ) आभूषणों का सेवन (धारण) करो। हे सुश्रोणि (सुंदर नितम्बों वाली)! मेरे भाई वैश्रवण (कुबेर) का पुष्पक नाम का... (विमान है)।
English Commentary
Ravana continues his attempt to seduce Sita with wealth and power. He invites her to enjoy "mukhya bhushanani" (excellent ornaments) and refers to the famous "Pushpaka" Vimana. Interestingly, he explicitly mentions that it belonged to his brother "Vaishravanasya" (Kubera). This is not an admission of theft in his eyes, but a boast of conquest. It signals that he is powerful enough to subjugate the god of wealth and his own kin. Addressing Sita as "Sushroni" (fair-hipped/beautiful) reveals his lustful gaze. He juxtaposes the static misery of the forest with the dynamic luxury of flying in the Pushpaka Vimana, trying to dazzle her with technology and opulence that represents the pinnacle of material achievement in that era.
