शीघ्रम् एव हि राक्षस्यो विकृता घोर दर्शनाः ।
दर्पम् अस्या अपनेष्यन्तु मांस शोणित भोजनाः ॥ ॥३-५६-२७॥
Śīghram eva hi rākṣasyo vikṛtā ghora darśanāḥ । Darpam asyā apaneṣyantu māṃsa śoṇita bhojanāḥ ॥ ॥3-56-27॥
Translation
"O Rakshasis, deformed and terrible to look at, eaters of flesh and blood! Quickly remove her pride."

"हे विकृत और भयानक दिखने वाली, मांस और रक्त का भोजन करने वाली राक्षसियों! तुम सब शीघ्र ही इसका (सीता का) घमंड चूर कर दो।"
English Commentary
Ravana commands the female guards, highlighting their terrifying attributes: 'vikrata' (deformed), 'ghora darshanah' (frightening appearance), and carnivores ('eaters of flesh and blood'). By explicitly naming these traits, Ravana emphasizes the hostile environment Sita is forced into.
