एवम् वयम् न मृष्यामो विप्रकारम् तपस्विनाम् ।
क्रियमाणम् वने घोरम् रक्षोभिः भीम कर्मभिः ॥ ॥३-६-१८॥
evam vayam na mṛṣyāmo viprakāram tapasvinām । kriyamāṇam vane ghoram rakṣobhiḥ bhīma karmabhiḥ ॥ ॥3-6-18॥
Translation
We can no longer tolerate this terrible persecution of ascetics being committed in the forest by the Rakshasas of terrifying deeds.

भयानक कर्म करने वाले राक्षसों द्वारा वन में तपस्वियों का जो यह घोर तिरस्कार (हिंसा/अपमान) किया जा रहा है, उसे अब हम और सहन नहीं कर सकते।
English Commentary
This represents the breaking point of the sages' patience. Na mṛṣyāmo (we do not/cannot tolerate) is a definitive declaration. While ascetics are bound by vows of forgiveness, the atrocity has reached a level where non-action is no longer an option. Viprakāram refers to the violent persecution and desecration of their sacred rites. By stating they can no longer endure the actions of the bhīma karmabhiḥ (doers of terrifying deeds), they are effectively handing over the mandate of justice to Rama, signaling that the time for peace is over and the time for war has begun.

यह ऋषियों की सहनशक्ति की अंतिम सीमा है। 'न मृष्यामो' (हम सहन नहीं करते/करेंगे) एक निर्णायक कथन है। ब्राह्मण और ऋषि स्वभाव से क्षमाशील होते हैं, किन्तु अब अत्याचार उस सीमा को पार कर गया है जहाँ क्षमा कायरता बन जाती है। 'विप्रकारम्' का अर्थ यहाँ केवल अपमान नहीं, बल्कि शारीरिक हिंसा और यज्ञ में विघ्न है। 'भीम कर्मभिः' (भयानक कर्म करने वाले) राक्षसों के प्रति अब ऋषियों का धैर्य समाप्त हो चुका है, और यह श्लोक राम से तत्काल कार्यवाही की मांग करता है।
