विप्रकारम् अपाक्रष्टुम् राक्षसैः भवताम् इमम् ।
पितुः तु निर्देशकरः प्रविष्टो अहम् इदम् वनम् ॥ ॥३-६-२३॥
Viprakāram apākraṣṭum rākṣasaiḥ bhavatām imam |
Pituḥ tu nirdeśakaraḥ praviṣṭo aham idam vanam ॥3-6-23॥
Translation
I have entered this forest to remove this humiliation inflicted upon you by the Rakshasas, while carrying out the command of my father.

राक्षसों द्वारा किए जा रहे आपके इस तिरस्कार को दूर करने के लिए, और पिता की आज्ञा का पालन करते हुए ही मैंने इस वन में प्रवेश किया है।
English Commentary
Rama synchronizes his personal duty to his father with his social duty to the sages. He validates his presence in the forest by stating that while the cause was his father's command (Pituh nirdeshakarah), the effect is the opportunity to end the sages' humiliation (Viprakaram). This reflects the concept of Dharma-sankata being resolved: conflicting duties are harmonized. He assures them that their suffering was the very reason providence brought him there.

श्रीराम यहाँ अपने वन आगमन के दो उद्देश्य स्पष्ट करते हैं: प्रथम, पिता दशरथ की आज्ञा का पालन (पितृ-भक्ति) और द्वितीय, ऋषियों के अपमान ('विप्रकारम्') का निवारण (देव-कार्य)। वे यह संकेत दे रहे हैं कि पिता का वनवास का आदेश दैवीय योजना का ही भाग था ताकि वे यहाँ आकर ऋषियों की रक्षा कर सकें। 'अपाक्रष्टुम्' का अर्थ है 'खींच कर निकाल देना' या 'दूर करना'; श्रीराम ऋषियों के जीवन से भय और अपमान को जड़ से उखाड़ फेंकने का आश्वासन दे रहे हैं।
