स विह्वलित सर्व अंगो गत बुद्धिः विचेतनः ।
निषसाद आतुरो दीनो निःश्वस्य अशीतम् आयतम् ॥ ॥३-६१-२८॥
Sa vihvalita sarva ango gata buddhiḥ vicetanaḥ |
Niṣasāda āturo dīno niḥśvasya aśītam āyatam ॥3-61-28॥
Translation
With all his limbs trembling, his intellect gone, and consciousness fading, he sat down, distressed and miserable, heaving hot and long sighs.

उनके सभी अंग शिथिल हो गए, बुद्धि लुप्त हो गई, और चेतना जाती रही। वे आतुर और दीन होकर गर्म और लंबी साँसें लेते हुए वहीं बैठ गए।
English Commentary
This verse illustrates a total collapse. Vihvalita sarva ango (limbs trembling/agitated) and gata buddhiḥ (lost intellect) suggest a systemic shutdown of both body and mind. The aśītam (not cold = hot) sighs are a classical poetic trope indicating the internal fire of separation (viraha agni). The action of sitting down (niṣasāda) signifies a cessation of effort due to sheer hopelessness. This portrays the profound depths of Vipralambha Shringara (love in separation), where the hero is rendered nearly catatonic.

यह श्लोक राम के पूर्ण रूप से टूट जाने का वर्णन करता है। 'विह्वलित सर्व अंगो' (कांपते हुए अंग) और 'गत बुद्धिः' (बुद्धि का चले जाना) यह बताते हैं कि शरीर और मन दोनों ने काम करना बंद कर दिया है। 'निःश्वस्य अशीतम्' (गर्म साँसें छोड़ना) विरह की अग्नि का प्रतीक है। वे इतने हताश हो गए कि जमीन पर ही बैठ गए ('निषसाद')। यह स्थिति शृंगार रस के अंतर्गत 'विप्रलम्भ' (वियोग) की अत्यंत गहन अवस्था है, जहाँ नायक जड़वत हो जाता है।
