Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
न एव यक्षा न गंधर्वा न पिशाचा न राक्षसाः ।
किन्नरा वा मनुष्या वा सुखम् प्राप्स्यन्ति लक्ष्मण ॥ ॥३-६४-५८॥
na eva yakṣā na gandharvā na piśācā na rākṣasāḥ । kinnarā vā manuṣyā vā sukham prāpsyanti lakṣmaṇa ॥ ॥3-64-58॥
Translation
O Lakshmana, neither Yakshas, nor Gandharvas, nor Pisachas, nor Rakshasas, nor Kinnaras, nor humans will find happiness now.

हे लक्ष्मण! अब न यक्ष, न गन्धर्व, न पिशाच, न राक्षस, न किन्नर और न ही मनुष्य सुख प्राप्त कर सकेंगे।
English Commentary
Shri Rama's declaration highlights the universality of his anguish. In the absence of Sita, the entire creation appears hostile or complicit to him. He proclaims that if justice is not served, he will disrupt the peace of all realms. By explicitly naming various celestial and terrestrial beings (Yakshas, Gandharvas, etc.), he emphasizes that no dimension—whether heaven, earth, or the netherworld—will be spared from his wrath. This serves as a warning that a single act of great adharma (the abduction) can have catastrophic consequences for the collective happiness of the universe.

श्रीराम का यह कथन उनके शोक की व्यापकता को दर्शाता है। सीता के बिना उन्हें सम्पूर्ण सृष्टि शत्रुवत प्रतीत हो रही है। वे घोषणा करते हैं कि यदि उन्हें न्याय नहीं मिला, तो वे चराचर जगत की शांति भंग कर देंगे। यहाँ विभिन्न योनियों (यक्ष, गन्धर्व, आदि) का नाम लेने का तात्पर्य है कि पृथ्वी ही नहीं, बल्कि स्वर्ग और पाताल के निवासी भी उनके कोप से नहीं बच सकेंगे। यह एक चेतावनी है कि एक अधर्म (सीता हरण) का परिणाम समस्त लोकों को भुगतना पड़ सकता है।
