Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
मम अस्त्र बाण संपूर्णम् आकाशम् पश्य लक्ष्मण ।
असंपातम् करिष्यामि हि अद्य त्रैलोक्य चारिणाम् ॥ ॥३-६४-५९॥
mama astra bāṇa saṃpūrṇam ākāśam paśya lakṣmaṇa । asaṃpātam kariṣyāmi hi adya trailokya cāriṇām ॥ ॥3-64-59॥
Translation
Behold the sky filled with my missiles and arrows, O Lakshmana. Indeed, today I shall make it impossible for those who traverse the three worlds to move.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे लक्ष्मण! मेरे अस्त्रों और बाणों से भरे हुए आकाश को देखो। आज मैं तीनों लोकों में विचरण करने वाले प्राणियों का आवागमन (संचरण) रोक दूंगा।
English Commentary
In this verse, Shri Rama asserts his martial prowess and absolute power. The term 'asampatam' implies a state where movement is rendered impossible. He vows to choke the sky with such a dense network of arrows that the aerial paths used by celestials and spirits will be blocked. This is a strategic blockade intended to pressure the cosmic forces. It reveals that Rama is not merely a forest-dwelling ascetic but a warrior of supreme capability who, when provoked, can dominate the elements (Akasha) and halt the traffic of the universe.

इस श्लोक में श्रीराम अपनी युद्धकला और सामर्थ्य का परिचय दे रहे हैं। 'असंपातम्' का अर्थ है ऐसी स्थिति जहाँ उड़ना या चलना असंभव हो जाए। वे आकाश को अपने बाणों से इतना आच्छादित करने का संकल्प लेते हैं कि देवताओं और गन्धर्वों का वायुमार्ग अवरुद्ध हो जाए। यह देवताओं पर दबाव बनाने की रणनीति है। श्रीराम का यह रौद्र रूप दर्शाता है कि वे केवल एक वनवासी नहीं, बल्कि महाबली योद्धा हैं, जो आवश्यकता पड़ने पर प्रकृति के तत्वों (आकाश) पर भी नियंत्रण कर सकते हैं।
