Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
संनिरुद्धग्रहगणमावारितनिशाकरम् ।
विप्रनष्टानलमरुद्भास्करद्युतिसंवृतम्।
॥३-६४-६०॥
saṃniruddha graha gaṇam āvārita niśā karam । vipranaṣṭa anala marut bhāskara dyuti saṃvṛtam ॥ ॥3-64-60॥
Translation
The hosts of planets will be checked, the moon will be covered, the fire and wind will be seemingly destroyed, and the brilliance of the sun will be obscured.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(मेरे बाणों से) ग्रहों के समूह रुक जाएंगे, चन्द्रमा ढक जाएगा, अग्नि और वायु नष्टप्राय हो जाएंगे और सूर्य की कांति भी छिप जाएगी।
English Commentary
This verse conjures an image of cosmic dissolution (Pralaya). Shri Rama vows to disrupt the established cosmic order. The halting of planetary motion, the obscuring of the sun and moon, and the cessation of wind and fire are traditional signs of the end of the world. Rama's rage is so intense that he threatens the fundamental laws of nature. It symbolizes that without Sita (who represents Nature or Prakriti), the equilibrium of the Purusha (Rama) is disturbed, leading to the potential collapse of the universe itself.

यह श्लोक प्रलय का दृश्य उपस्थित करता है। श्रीराम प्रतिज्ञा करते हैं कि वे ब्रह्मांडीय व्यवस्था (Cosmic Order) को छिन्न-भिन्न कर देंगे। ग्रहों की गति रुकना, सूर्य-चन्द्र का प्रकाशहीन होना और वायु का थम जाना—ये सब महाप्रलय के संकेत हैं। श्रीराम का क्रोध इतना तीव्र है कि वे प्रकृति के मूलभूत नियमों को चुनौती दे रहे हैं। यह दर्शाता है कि सीता (प्रकृति स्वरूपा) के वियोग में पुरुष (श्रीराम) का संतुलन बिगड़ने पर सृष्टि का संतुलन भी नहीं रह सकता।
