विनिर्मथितशैलाग्रम्शुष्यमाणजलाअशयम् ।
ध्वस्तद्रुमलतागुल्मम्विप्रणाशितसागरम्।
॥३-६४-६१॥
vinirmathita śaila agram śuṣyamāṇa jala āśayam । dhvasta druma latā gulmam vipraṇāśita sāgaram ॥ ॥3-64-61॥
Translation
The peaks of mountains will be crushed, the water reservoirs will dry up, trees, creepers, and bushes will be destroyed, and the ocean will be annihilated.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(मेरे प्रभाव से) पर्वतों के शिखर टूट कर गिर पड़ेंगे, जलाशयों का जल सूख जाएगा, वृक्ष, लताएं और झाड़ियां नष्ट हो जाएंगी और सागर भी विनाश को प्राप्त होगा।
English Commentary
Here, Shri Rama speaks of destroying the elements of Earth and Water. The crushing of mountains and the drying of oceans signify his boundless power. Although Rama is typically a lover of nature, in the fire of separation, he is prepared to incinerate the very environment he cherishes. This paradox measures the depth of his grief. When the Protector threatens to become the Destroyer, it signals that the limits of injustice have been crossed. It is a clear ultimatum to the gods that if Sita is not restored, the earth will cease to be habitable.

यहाँ श्रीराम पृथ्वी तत्व और जल तत्व के विनाश की बात कर रहे हैं। पर्वतों का टूटना और समुद्रों का सूखना उनकी असीम शक्ति का परिचायक है। आमतौर पर श्रीराम प्रकृति प्रेमी हैं, किन्तु वियोग की अग्नि में वे उसी प्रकृति को भस्म करने को उद्यत हैं। यह विरोधाभास उनके दुख की गहराई को मापता है। जब रक्षक ही भक्षक बनने की चेतावनी दे, तो यह समझना चाहिए कि अन्याय की सीमा पार हो चुकी है। यह देवताओं को स्पष्ट संकेत है कि यदि सीता नहीं मिलीं, तो पृथ्वी रहने योग्य नहीं बचेगी।
