गुहाः च विविधा घोरा पद्मिन्यो विविधाः थथा ।
देव गन्धर्व लोकान् च विचेष्यामः समाहिताः ॥ ॥३-६५-१४॥
guhāḥ ca vividhā ghorā padminyo vividhāḥ thathā । deva gandharva lokān ca viceṣyāmaḥ samāhitāḥ ॥ ॥3-65-14॥
Translation
We shall search with concentrated minds in various terrible caves, lotus ponds, and the worlds of gods and Gandharvas.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हम एकाग्रचित्त होकर नाना प्रकार की भयानक गुफाओं, सरोवरों (कमल तालों) और देव-गंधर्वों के लोकों में भी खोज करेंगे।
English Commentary
The word 'Samahitah' (concentrated/alert) is key. Lakshmana knows the enemy uses illusion (Maya), so the search requires absolute focus. Caves and ponds are cited as likely hiding spots for demons. Lakshmana further assures Rama that the search will extend beyond earth to the realms of Devas and Gandharvas if necessary. This illustrates the extent of Lakshmana's commitment—he is willing to traverse dimensions to retrieve Sita, thereby validating Rama's need for action.
