गुहाः च विविधा घोरा नाना मृग गण आकुलाः ।
आवासाः किन्नराणाम् च गन्धान्वर्व भवनानि च ॥३-६७-६॥
guhāḥ ca vividhā ghorā nānā mṛga gaṇa ākulāḥ |
āvāsāḥ kinnarāṇām ca gandharva bhavanāni ca ॥3-67-6॥
Translation
There are various terrible caves filled with herds of different beasts, as well as the abodes of Kinnaras and the mansions of Gandharvas.

यहाँ अनेकों प्रकार की भयानक गुफाएँ हैं जो विभिन्न वन्य पशुओं के समूहों से भरी हैं। यहाँ किन्नरों के आवास और गन्धर्वों के भवन भी हैं।
English Commentary
Lakshmana continues detailing the search area. The mention of 'ghora' (terrible/deep) caves filled with beasts adds urgency—Sita is delicate and vulnerable in such an environment. Interestingly, he also mentions the dwellings of Kinnaras and Gandharvas (celestial beings). This implies that the search isn't limited to finding a demon; they must investigate all inhabitants of the forest. Sita could be hidden anywhere, or these beings might have witnessed the abduction. It reinforces the thoroughness of the proposed search plan.

लक्ष्मण खोज के दायरे (Scope) को विस्तृत कर रहे हैं। जंगल केवल राक्षसों का ही नहीं, बल्कि किन्नरों और गन्धर्वों (उप-देवताओं) का भी निवास स्थान है। 'घोरा गुहाः' (भयानक गुफाएँ) यह संकेत देती हैं कि सीता किसी संकट में हो सकती हैं या किसी हिंसक पशु का शिकार हो सकती हैं। साथ ही, गन्धर्वों और किन्नरों के आवासों का उल्लेख यह संभावना भी जगाता है कि शायद किसी देव-योनि के प्राणी ने सीता को सुरक्षा दी हो या उनका हरण किया हो। लक्ष्मण चाहते हैं कि वे किसी भी संभावना को न छोड़ें और हर स्थान की जाँच करें।
