भयदाम् अल्प सत्त्वानाम् भीभत्साम् रौद्र दर्शनाम् ।
लंबोदरीम् तीक्ष्ण दंष्ट्राम् करालीम् परुष त्वचम् ॥ ॥३-६९-१२॥
Bhayadām alpa sattvānām bhībhatsām raudra darśanām । Lambodarīm tīkṣṇa daṃṣṭrām karālīm paruṣa tvacam ॥ ॥3-69-12॥
Translation
She was terrifying to the weak, loathsome, fierce to look at, pot-bellied, with sharp fangs, terrible, and possessed of rough skin.

वह निर्बल प्राणियों (अल्प सत्व) को भय देने वाली, घिनौनी (वीभत्स), भयानक दिखने वाली, लम्बे पेट वाली, तीखे दाँतों वाली, विकराल और कठोर चमड़ी वाली थी।
English Commentary
A graphic description evoking disgust and horror. Attributes like Lambodarīm (pendulous/large belly) and Tīkṣṇa daṃṣṭrām (sharp fangs) mark her as a devourer, a consumer of life. Her skin is Paruṣa (rough/coarse), contrasting with the ideal smooth skin of classical heroines. She is Bhībhatsām (repulsive). This description emphasizes that she is an entity of brute force and terror, a predator who preys on the Alpa sattvānām (those of little strength/courage).
