तानि माल्यानि जातानि मुनीनाम् तपसा तदा ।
स्वेद बिन्दु समुत्थानि न विनश्यन्ति राघव ॥ ॥३-७३-२५॥
Tāni mālyāni jātāni munīnām tapasā tadā । Sveda bindu samutthāni na vinaśyanti rāghava ॥ ॥3-73-25॥
Translation
O Raghava! Those flowers, born from the drops of sweat through the penance of the Munis, became garlands (clusters) which do not perish even now.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राघव! पसीने की उन बूंदों से उत्पन्न (समुत्थानि) वे फूल उन मुनियों की तपस्या के प्रभाव से माला रूप (गुच्छों) में परिणत हो गए, जो आज भी नष्ट नहीं होते।
English Commentary
The transformation is completed in this verse: the sweat drops, sanctified by tapas (penance), blossomed into eternal flowers (mālyāni jātāni). The phrase sveda bindu samutthāni (arising from sweat drops) serves as a poetic paradox—sweat, usually associated with impurity or toil, here generates beauty and immortality. Kabandha assures Rama that these flowers na vinaśyanti (do not perish), serving as a tangible proof of the spiritual history of the land he is traversing. It sets the stage for the meeting with Shabari, the custodian of this legacy.

यहाँ कार्य-कारण संबंध (cause and effect) पूर्ण होता है। पसीने की बूंदें 'मुनीनाम् तपसा' (मुनियों के तप) के कारण फूलों में बदल गईं। 'न विनश्यन्ति' (नष्ट नहीं होते) यह बताता है कि सच्चा समर्पण अविनाशी होता है। यह फूल उन ऋषियों की कीर्ति की तरह ही अमर हैं। राम के लिए यह दृश्य एक तीर्थ दर्शन के समान होगा। यह प्रसंग रामायण के उस पक्ष को उजागर करता है जहाँ प्रकृति और आध्यात्मिकता एक दूसरे में विलीन हो जाते हैं—जहाँ पसीना फूल बन जाता है और वन तपोवन बन जाता है।
