सुप्रीतौ तौ अनुज्ञाप्य कबंधः प्रस्थितः तदा ॥३-७३-४५॥
suprītau tau anujñāpya kabaṃdhaḥ prasthitaḥ tadā ॥3-73-45॥
Translation
Then, obtaining permission from the two highly pleased princes, Kabandha departed.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब (राम और लक्ष्मण के) अत्यंत प्रसन्न होने पर, उनसे आज्ञा लेकर कबन्ध वहां से चला गया।
English Commentary
This concise verse marks the formal conclusion of the Kabandha episode. The use of the word supreetau (highly pleased) indicates that Rama and Lakshmana hold no residual grudge against the former demon; they are genuinely happy for his liberation. This highlights Rama's magnanimity—he forgives past offenses once the soul is purified.
