क्रमेण गत्वा प्रविलोकयन् वनम् ददर्श पंपाम् शुभ दर्श काननाम् ।
अनेक नाना विध पक्षि संकुलाम् विवेश रामः सह लक्ष्मणेन ॥ ॥३-७५-३०॥
krameṇa gatvā pravilokayan vanam dadarśa pampām śubha darśa kānanām |
aneka nānā vidha pakṣi saṃkulām viveśa rāmaḥ saha lakṣmaṇena ॥3-75-30॥
Translation
Proceeding gradually and observing the forest, Rama saw Pampa, surrounded by beautiful groves and crowded with many different kinds of birds, and entered it along with Lakshmana.

धीरे-धीरे आगे बढ़ते हुए और वन की शोभा देखते हुए, राम ने सुंदर वनों से घिरी हुई और अनेक प्रकार के पक्षियों से व्याप्त पंपा को देखा और लक्ष्मण के साथ उसमें प्रवेश किया।
English Commentary
The concluding verse of this section (and often the Sarga) describes the physical act of Rama and Lakshmana entering the Pampa environs. The pacing is deliberate—kramena gatva (going step-by-step/gradually)—allowing them to observe the forest (pravilokayan vanam). Pampa is described as having beautiful woodlands (shubha darsha kananam) and being teeming with diverse birds (aneka nana vidha pakshi). This abundance of life contrasts with the barrenness of the Dandaka forest they have traversed. The verse serves as a narrative threshold; by entering Pampa, they are physically stepping into the domain of the Vanaras. It leaves the reader with a vivid picture of the two brothers standing amidst a vibrant, noisy, bird-filled paradise, poised for the next phase of their journey.

इस सर्ग के अंतिम श्लोक में राम और लक्ष्मण की भौतिक गति का वर्णन है। 'क्रमेण गत्वा' (क्रम से/धीरे-धीरे जाकर) दर्शाता है कि वे मार्ग की शोभा को देखते हुए आगे बढ़ रहे थे। 'शुभ दर्श काननाम्' बताता है कि पंपा के आसपास के वन देखने में अत्यंत शुभ और सुंदर थे। पक्षियों का कलरव ('पक्षि संकुलाम्') जीवन और ऊर्जा का प्रतीक है। राम का लक्ष्मण के साथ प्रवेश करना ('सह लक्ष्मणेन') उनके अटूट साथ को दर्शाता है। यह श्लोक अरण्यकाण्ड के इस पड़ाव का समापन करता है और पाठकों को अगले अध्याय (किष्किन्धा काण्ड) के लिए तैयार करता है, जो इसी पंपा सरोवर के तट से शुरू होता है। यहाँ दृश्य-श्रव्य (Visual and Auditory) बिम्बों का सुंदर संयोजन है।
