Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
प्रणष्टम् अशुभम् यत् नः कल्याणम् समुपस्थितम् ।
तेन तु एतत् प्रहृष्टम् मे मनो लक्ष्मण संप्रति ॥ ॥३-७५-५॥
Praṇaṣṭam aśubham yat naḥ kalyāṇam samupasthitam |
Tena tu etat prahṛṣṭam me mano lakṣmaṇa samprati ॥3-75-5॥
Translation
Whatever misfortune we had has been dispelled, and good fortune is now approaching. For this reason, O Lakshmana, my mind feels extremely delighted at this moment.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हमारा जो अशुभ (दुर्भाग्य) था वह नष्ट हो गया है और कल्याण (शुभ समय) निकट आ गया है। हे लक्ष्मण! इसी कारण से इस समय मेरा मन अत्यंत प्रहृष्ट (प्रसन्न) हो रहा है।
English Commentary
After meeting Shabari and bathing in the holy waters, Sri Rama feels a surge of positivity. Through intuition, he senses that the obstacles in finding Sita are beginning to fade ('Pranashtam ashubham'). He perceives that their bad luck has passed and auspicious times are ahead. This verse conveys a strong message of optimism; it suggests that the company of the holy and adherence to Dharma cleanses the mind of despair. Rama’s sudden delight signals a turning point in the narrative, shifting from grief to proactive hope.

शबरी के दर्शन और पवित्र तीर्थ में स्नान के बाद, श्री राम के भीतर सकारात्मकता का संचार हुआ है। वे शकुन और अंतर्ज्ञान के माध्यम से अनुभव कर रहे हैं कि सीता की खोज में आ रही बाधाएँ अब दूर होने वाली हैं। 'प्रणष्टम् अशुभम्' का अर्थ है कि दुःख की काली रात अब ढल रही है। यह श्लोक आशावाद का संदेश देता है—जब व्यक्ति संतों के सान्निध्य में रहता है और धर्म का पालन करता है, तो मन की निराशा दूर होती है और भविष्य के प्रति विश्वास जागृत होता है।
