Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
उपस्थासमनुज्ञाप्य प्रविवेश निवेशन्म् ।
अद्य रामाभिषेको वै प्रसिद्ध इति जज्ञिवान् ॥ ॥२-१०-१०॥
Upasthāsamanujñāpya praviveśa niveśanam । Adya rāmābhiṣeko vai prasiddha iti jajñivān ॥ ॥2-10-10॥
Translation
Having dismissed his attendants and the assembly, the King entered the inner apartments. He was fully confident in his mind, thinking, "Today, Rama's coronation is indeed certain."

सेवकों और दरबानियों को विदा करके राजा ने अंतःपुर में प्रवेश किया। वे मन ही मन निश्चित थे कि 'आज राम का अभिषेक प्रसिद्ध (सुनीशचित) है'।
English Commentary
In this verse, Valmiki depicts King Dasharatha's state of mind, characterized by joy and absolute confidence. The use of the word jajñivān implies he was deeply convinced that the coronation was a done deal. He dismisses his retinue to share this intimate moment of joy specifically with Kaikeyi first. There is a profound dramatic irony here; the King believes he is walking into a celebration, unaware that he is stepping into a trap laid by Manthara. His certainty about the "famous" (prasiddha) event highlights the fragility of human plans against the turn of fate. This unsuspecting happiness makes the impending tragedy even more poignant.
