Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
सन्ति मे कुशला वैद्यास्त्वभितुष्टाश्च सर्वशः ।
सुखितां त्वां करिष्यन्ति व्याधिमाचक्ष्व भामिनि ॥ ॥२-१०-३०॥
Santi me kuśalā vaidyāstvabhituṣṭāśca sarvaśaḥ । Sukhitāṃ tvāṃ kariṣyanti vyādhimācakṣva bhāmini ॥ ॥2-10-30॥
Translation
I have skilled physicians who are fully satisfied (well-rewarded) by me. They will make you well. Tell me your ailment, O beautiful woman.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मेरे पास कुशल वैद्य हैं जिन्हें मैंने पूर्णतः संतुष्ट (धन-सम्मान से) रखा है। वे तुम्हें स्वस्थ कर देंगे। हे भामिनी! अपना रोग बताओ।
English Commentary
Failing to find a social cause (insult), Dasharatha pivots to a medical one. He assumes she must be suffering from a vyādhi (ailment). He boasts of his skilled and well-paid (abhituṣṭāḥ) physicians, trying to reassure her that any physical pain can be cured instantly with his resources. This highlights his desperation to "fix" the situation using his royal machinery. However, his offer is futile because the "sickness" is jealousy and ambition, for which no physician has a cure.

जब दशरथ को कोई बाहरी अपमान का कारण नहीं दिखता, तो वे सोचते हैं कि शायद कैकेयी शारीरिक रूप से बीमार ('व्याधि') है। यह एक राजा का व्यावहारिक दृष्टिकोण है—हर समस्या का समाधान होता है। वे अपने 'कुशल वैद्यों' का उल्लेख करते हैं, यह दिखाने के लिए कि उनके पास सर्वोत्तम चिकित्सा उपलब्ध है। वे हर संभव प्रयास कर रहे हैं कि कैकेयी बोले। 'भामिनी' (क्रोधी/तेजस्वी स्त्री) संबोधन यहाँ उपयुक्त है क्योंकि वह कोप-भवन में है। राजा समाधान ढूंढ रहे हैं, लेकिन रोग शरीर का नहीं, मन का है।
