परिपीडयितुं भूयो भर्तारमुपचक्रमे ।

Paripīḍayituṃ bhūyo bhartāramupacakrame । ॥2-10-41॥
Translation
She then began to prepare to torment her husband further.

(तब) वह अपने पति को और अधिक पीड़ित करने के लिए उपक्रम (तैयारी) करने लगी।
English Commentary
This transitional phrase sets the grim tone for the next canto. The verb upacakrame (she began/undertook) coupled with paripīḍayituṃ (to torment/afflict) strips away any ambiguity about Kaikeyi's actions. She is not sharing grief; she is launching an assault. It highlights the shift from passive aggression (lying on the floor) to active aggression (verbalizing the lethal boons).
