English Commentary
The word 'abalā' (weak woman) is ironic here. Physically she may be delicate, but at this moment, she wields the power to bring the mighty King Dasharatha to his knees. Knitting her eyebrows ('bhṛkuṭiṃ') is part of her theatrical display of rage. She is staging the scene for Dasharatha's arrival, stripping herself of decor to maximize the emotional impact of her protest.

'अबला' शब्द यहाँ विडंबनापूर्ण है। शारीरिक रूप से वह कोमल हो सकती है, लेकिन मानसिक रूप से वह इस समय अयोध्या की सबसे शक्तिशाली शक्ति बन गई है जो राजा को भी झुका देगी। 'भृकुटिं' (त्योरियां/frown) चढ़ाना उसके कृत्रिम क्रोध का हिस्सा है। वह राजा दशरथ के आने की प्रतीक्षा कर रही है, और दृश्य को प्रभावपूर्ण बनाने के लिए उसने अपनी सारी सजावट उतार फेंकी है।
