यानी मिथ्याभिशस्तानां पतन्त्यस्राणि राघव ।
तानि पुत्रपशून् घ्नन्ति प्रीत्यर्थमनुशासत: ॥ ॥२-१००-६०॥
Yāni mithyābhiśastānāṃ patantyasrāṇi Rāghava । Tāni putrapaśūn ghnanti prītyarthamanuśāsataḥ ॥ ॥2-100-60॥
Translation
O Raghava, the tears that fall from the eyes of those falsely accused destroy the sons and cattle of a king who rules merely for his own pleasure (ignoring justice).

हे राघव! झूठा कलंक लगाए गए (निर्दोष) लोगों की आंखों से जो आंसू गिरते हैं, वे उस राजा के पुत्रों और पशुओं का नाश कर देते हैं जो केवल अपने सुख (मनमानी) के लिए शासन करता है।
English Commentary
This is a stern metaphysical warning about the consequences of injustice. Rama asserts that the tears of the mithyābhiśastānāṃ (those falsely accused) are potent enough to wipe out the King's lineage (putra) and wealth (paśūn). This specifically targets a ruler who governs prītyartham—arbitrarily for his own pleasure or whims, rather than according to the law. It serves as a reminder that the King is metaphysically responsible for the suffering of the innocent in his realm. The 'tears of the oppressed' are depicted here as a cosmic force capable of bringing down dynasties.
