भ्रातृणां त्वरितास्तत्र द्रष्टुकामा: समागमम् ।
ययुर्बहुविधैर्यानै: खुरनेमिस्वनाकुलै: ॥ ॥२-१०२-३९॥
Bhrātṛṇāṃ tvaritāstatra draṣṭukāmāḥ samāgamam । Yayurbahuvidhairyānaiḥ khuranemisvanākulaiḥ ॥ ॥2-102-39॥
Translation
Eager to witness the reunion of the brothers, they hastened there in various vehicles, creating a din with the sound of hooves and wheels.
हिंदी अनुवाद
चारों भाइयों के समागम (मिलन) को देखने की इच्छा से वे लोग खुरों और पहियों की आवाज़ से कोलाहल करते हुए अनेक प्रकार के वाहनों से शीघ्रतापूर्वक वहाँ गए।
English Commentary
The motive intensifies: not just to see Rama, but to witness the 'samagamam' (reunion) of the brothers. This reflects the cultural value placed on familial bonds. The verse is acoustically rich, filled with the cacophony of 'khura' (hooves) and 'nemi' (rims/wheels). The adjective 'tvaritah' (hastened) reiterates the urgency. The peaceful forest is invaded by the sounds of civilization—machinery and animals—driven by human emotion. It paints a kinetic picture of a mobilizing army turning into a rushing crowd of spectators.

यह श्लोक दृश्य और ध्वनि दोनों का संयोजन है। 'समागमम्' (मिलन) देखने की इच्छा केंद्रीय भाव है। रामायण में भ्रातृ-प्रेम एक प्रमुख विषय है, और प्रजा भी इस प्रेम की साक्षी बनना चाहती है। 'खुरनेमिस्वनाकुलै:' एक समस्तपद है जो वातावरण की अराजकता को दर्शाता है—घोड़ों के खुरों की टाप और रथ के पहियों (नेमि) की गड़गड़ाहट। वन की शांति भंग हो गई है। यह भीड़ किसी मेले या उत्सव जैसी प्रतीत होती है, यद्यपि कारण शोक है। उत्सुकता इतनी अधिक है कि वे शोर और धूल की परवाह किये बिना आगे बढ़ रहे हैं।
