इहैव त्वा ऽभिषिञ्चन्तु सर्वा: प्रकृतय: सह ।
ऋत्विज: सवसिष्ठाश्च मन्त्रवन्मन्त्रकोविदा: ॥ ॥२-१०६-२६॥
Ihaiva tvā 'bhiṣiñcantu sarvāḥ prakṛtayaḥ saha । Ṛtvijaḥ savasiṣṭhāśca mantravanmantrakovidāḥ ॥ ॥2-106-26॥
Translation
Let all the subjects, along with the Ritviks (priests) led by Vasistha, who are skilled in Mantras, crown you right here with sacred chants.

मन्त्रों के ज्ञाता वसिष्ठ आदि ऋत्विक और सारी प्रजा मिलकर, विधिपूर्वक मन्त्रोकारण के साथ यहीं (चित्रकूट वन में ही) आपका राज्याभिषेक करें।
English Commentary
Bharata proposes an immediate solution: a coronation in situ. He suggests that Rama be anointed ihaiva (right here) in the forest. This reveals the extent of Bharata's preparation—he brought the Prakṛtayaḥ (subjects/ministers), Vasistha, and the Ritviks (priests) specifically for this purpose. It emphasizes Bharata’s desperation to end the exile immediately. He argues that the location implies no barrier; the authority of the Veda-knowers (mantrakovidāḥ) validates the coronation wherever it occurs.

भरत का उत्साह इतना अधिक है कि वे अयोध्या लौटने की प्रतीक्षा भी नहीं करना चाहते। वे प्रस्ताव रखते हैं कि राज्याभिषेक 'इहैव' (यहीं, वन में ही) कर दिया जाए। भरत अपने साथ पूरी तैयारी लेकर आए हैं—प्रजा (प्रकृतय:), गुरु वसिष्ठ, और ऋत्विक। यह दर्शाता है कि भरत का संकल्प कितना दृढ़ था; वे राम को मनाने नहीं, बल्कि राजा बनाकर वापस ले जाने आए थे। यह दृश्य अत्यंत भावुक है जहाँ छोटा भाई बड़े भाई को वन में ही सिंहासन (चाहे वह शिला ही क्यों न हो) पर बिठाने को आतुर है।
