तेनैवमाज्ञाय यथावदर्थमेकोदयं सम्प्रतिपद्य विप्रा: ।
धर्मं चरन्त: सकलं यथावत् कांक्षन्ति लोकागममप्रमत्ता: ॥ ॥२-१०९-३२॥
tenaivamājñāya yathāvadarthamekodayaṃ sampratipadya viprāḥ । dharmaṃ carantaḥ sakalaṃ yathāvat kāṃkṣanti lokāgamamapramattāḥ ॥ ॥2-109-32॥
Translation
Therefore, having comprehended the true meaning, and realizing that Truth is the one universal foundation, the wise Brahmins, remaining vigilant, practice Dharma in its entirety and aspire for the higher worlds.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इसलिए, (शास्त्रों के) यथार्थ अर्थ को समझकर, और 'सत्य ही सबका एक मात्र मूल है' (एकोदयम्) इस बात को निश्चित करके, बुद्धिमान ब्राह्मण सावधानीपूर्वक (अप्रमत्ता:) सम्पूर्ण धर्म का आचरण करते हैं और उच्च लोकों की कामना करते हैं।
English Commentary
Rama concludes his theological argument by describing the methodology of the wise (viprah). They understand the artha (true meaning of scriptures) and recognize ekodayam—the singular rise or foundation of all welfare, which is Truth/Dharma. They are apramattah (vigilant/not careless), implying that adhering to Dharma requires constant conscious effort against temptations like those Jabali offered. These wise men do not practice Dharma blindly but with full understanding of its cosmic consequences, aiming for spiritual evolution (lokagamam).

राम समझाते हैं कि विद्वान (विप्रा:) वेदों के मर्म को जानकर ही धर्म का पालन करते हैं, अंधविश्वास में नहीं। 'एकोदयं' शब्द महत्त्वपूर्ण है—इसका अर्थ है कि सभी धर्मों और अभ्युदय का एक ही उद्गम है, और वह है सत्य/ब्रह्म। 'अप्रमत्ता:' (प्रमाद रहित/सावधान) शब्द बताता है कि आध्यात्मिक पथ पर चलने के लिए निरंतर सतर्कता की आवश्यकता है। जाबालि जैसे नास्तिक विचारों से भटकना आसान है, लेकिन ज्ञानी जन सत्य को पकड़कर रखते हैं क्योंकि वे जानते हैं कि यही 'लोकागम' (परलोक प्राप्ति) का साधन है।
