तौ तावदहम्द्यैव वक्ष्यामि शृणु मे वचः ।
अभिषेकसमारम्भओ राघवस्योपकल्पितः ॥ ॥२-११-२४॥
tau tāvadahamadyaiva vakṣyāmi śṛṇu me vacaḥ । abhiṣekasamārambho rāghavasyopakalpitaḥ ॥ ॥2-11-24॥
Translation
"...I shall speak of those two [boons] this very day; listen to my words. The preparations that have been made for the consecration of Raghava (Rama)..."

"...उन दोनों वरों को मैं आज ही कहूँगी, आप मेरे वचन सुनें। राघव (राम) के अभिषेक के लिए जो यह समारोह (सामग्री/तैयारी) सजाया गया है..."
English Commentary
Kaikeyi connects her abstract boons to the tangible reality of the moment. She points to the "abhisheka-samarambha" (preparations for the coronation) intended for Raghava. This is a cruel twist: she intends to hijack the specific preparations made for Rama's glory to fulfill her own desire. By saying she will speak "adyaiva" (right now), she ensures the disruption happens before the sun rises on the ceremony.

कैकेयी अपनी मांग को सीधे वर्तमान परिस्थिति से जोड़ती है। वह कहती है 'अद्यैव' (आज ही) वह उन वरों को लेगी। वह बड़ी चतुराई से राम के अभिषेक की तैयारियों ('अभिषेकसमारम्भः') का उल्लेख करती है। उसका उद्देश्य यह है कि तैयारी तो हो चुकी है, संसाधन जुटे हुए हैं, बस दूल्हा बदलना है। वह राम के लिए की गई तैयारियों को ही अपनी मांग का आधार बनाती है, जिससे राजा को और अधिक आघात पहुँचता है।
