शङ्खणस्य च पुत्रो ऽभूच्छूर: श्रीमान् सुदर्शन: ।
सुदर्शनस्याग्निवर्ण अग्निवर्णस्य शीघ्रग: ॥२-११०-२८॥
Śaṅkhaṇasya ca putro 'bhūcchūraḥ śrīmān sudarśanaḥ । Sudarśanasyāgnivarṇa agnivarṇasya śīghragaḥ ॥2-110-28॥
Translation
The heroic and illustrious Sudarshana was the son of Shankhana. Sudarshana's son was Agnivarna, and Agnivarna's son was Shighraga.

शंखण के पुत्र शूरवीर और श्रीमान् 'सुदर्शन' हुए। सुदर्शन के पुत्र 'अग्निवर्ण' और अग्निवर्ण के पुत्र 'शीघ्रग' हुए।
English Commentary
The lineage proceeds through Sudarshana, Agnivarna, and Shighraga. These kings serve as the bridge between the ancient mythical figures and the immediate predecessors of Rama. Their names—Agnivarna (Color of Fire) and Shighraga (Fast-moving)—evoke qualities of martial ardor and swiftness, consistent with the solar imagery of the dynasty.
