अथानुपूर्व्यात् प्रतिनन्द्य तं जनं गुरूंश्च मन्त्रिप्रकृतीस्तथानुजौ ।
व्यसर्जयद्राघववंशवर्द्धन: स्थिर: स्वधर्मे हिमवानिवाचल: ॥ ॥२-११२-३०॥
Athānupūrvyāt pratinandya taṃ janaṃ gurūṃśca mantriprakṛtīstathānujau । Vyasarjayadrāghavavaṃśavardhanaḥ sthiraḥ svadharme himavānivācalaḥ ॥ ॥2-112-30॥
Translation
Then, greeting that gathering, the teachers, the ministers, and his younger brothers in due order, the augmenter of the Raghu lineage dismissed them. He stood firm in his Dharma, immovable like the Himavan (Himalayas).

तदनंतर, राघववंश को बढ़ाने वाले राम ने क्रमशः उन जनों, गुरुओं, मंत्रियों, और छोटे भाइयों (भरत-शत्रुघ्न) का अभिनंदन करके उन्हें विदा किया। वे अपने धर्म में हिमालय की भांति अचल और स्थिर रहे।
English Commentary
Even in the chaotic emotional atmosphere of departure, Rama adheres to strict protocol (anupūrvyāt—in due order). He acknowledges everyone from the Gurus to the common citizens before sending them away. The poet reiterates the simile of the Himalayas (himavānivācalaḥ) to describe Rama's stability in Svadharma (his own duty). Despite the weeping and the heartbreak described earlier, his core resolve remains unshaken. He is the Rāghavavaṃśavardhanaḥ (upholder/increaser of the Raghu lineage) precisely because he refuses to compromise on the values that define that lineage, even when it causes him personal pain.

विदाई के क्षणों में भी राम मर्यादा नहीं भूलते। 'अनुपूर्व्यात्' (क्रमपूर्वक) शब्द महत्वपूर्ण है—राम ने पहले गुरुओं, फिर मंत्रियों, फिर प्रजा और अंत में भाइयों को विदा किया। यह उनकी मानसिक स्पष्टता को दर्शाता है। अंतिम पंक्ति में वाल्मीकि उन्हें पुनः 'हिमवान इव अचलः' (हिमालय की तरह अचल) कहते हैं। आँसुओं (श्लोक 28) के बावजूद, उनका संकल्प नहीं डगमगाया। वे 'स्वधर्मे स्थिर:' हैं—अर्थात पितृ-वचन पालन रूपी धर्म में स्थिर। भावनाओं का तूफान उन्हें अपनी जगह से हिला नहीं सका। यह श्लोक राम के चरित्र की उस दृढ़ता को नमन है जो कोमलता और कठोरता का अद्भुत संगम है।
