तत: प्रदक्षिणं कृत्वा भरद्वाजं पुन:पुन: ।
भरतस्तु ययौ श्रीमानयोध्यां सह मन्त्रिभि: ॥ ॥२-११३-१९॥
Tataḥ pradakṣiṇaṃ kṛtvā bharadvājaṃ punaḥpunaḥ |
Bharatastu yayau śrīmānayodhyāṃ saha mantribhiḥ ॥2-113-19॥
Translation
Thereafter, the glorious Bharata circumambulated Sage Bharadwaja again and again (as a mark of deep respect) and then departed for Ayodhya accompanied by his ministers.

तदनन्तर, श्रीमान भरत ने बार-बार भरद्वाज मुनि की परिक्रमा (प्रदक्षिणा) की और फिर मंत्रियों के साथ अयोध्या की ओर प्रस्थान किया।
English Commentary
Circumambulation (Pradakshina) is a traditional gesture of supreme reverence. By doing it 'punaḥpunaḥ' (again and again), Bharata expresses his reluctance to leave the spiritual sanctuary and his immense gratitude toward the sage. The epithet 'Śrīmān' (glorious) is used for Bharata, highlighting that his glory lies not in conquering the throne, but in conquering his own ego through sacrifice. Departing with his ministers signifies that the machinery of the state is moving back, carrying the heavy burden of governance without the rightful King.

प्रस्थान के समय 'प्रदक्षिणा' करना भारतीय संस्कृति में गुरु और बड़ों के प्रति अगाध श्रद्धा का प्रतीक है। भरत ने 'पुन:पुन:' (बार-बार) प्रदक्षिणा की, जो यह दर्शाता है कि वे ऋषि के आश्रम को छोड़ना नहीं चाहते थे या ऋषि के प्रति उनकी कृतज्ञता शब्दों से परे थी। वे 'श्रीमान' (शोभा संपन्न) हैं, लेकिन उनकी शोभा अब राजसी ठाठ में नहीं, बल्कि उनकी विनम्रता और त्याग में है। मंत्रियों के साथ प्रस्थान करना यह सूचित करता है कि यद्यपि वे व्यक्तिगत रूप से दुखी हैं, पर राज्य की जिम्मेदारी (राजकाज) उनके साथ चल रही है।
