ततस्तु भरत: क्षिप्रं नन्दिग्रामं प्रविश्य स: ।
अवतीर्य्य रथात्तूर्णं गुरूनिदमुवाच ह ॥२-११५-१३॥
tatastu bharataḥ kṣipraṃ nandigrāmaṃ praviśya saḥ |
avatīryya rathāttūrṇaṃ gurūnidamuvāca ha ॥2-115-13॥
Translation
Then, having quickly entered Nandigrama, Bharata immediately alighted from the chariot and spoke these words to the preceptors.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर, शीघ्र ही नन्दिग्राम में प्रवेश करके, भरत रथ से तुरंत उतरे और गुरुजनों से यह वचन बोले।
English Commentary
Bharata's actions display impeccable etiquette and humility. Upon entering Nandigrama, he does not wait for a ceremonial reception but alights "immediately" from the chariot. This is a mark of respect towards the "Gurus" (elders and teachers) present. Even though he is the de facto ruler, he maintains the demeanor of a disciple. Addressing the elders first signifies that his administration in Nandigrama will be rooted in wisdom and traditional guidance, not autonomous power.

नन्दिग्राम पहुँचते ही भरत का व्यवहार एक सेवक जैसा है। वे रथ से 'तूर्णं' (तुरंत) उतर जाते हैं। परम्परा के अनुसार, गुरुजनों के समक्ष रथ पर बैठे रहना मर्यादा का उल्लंघन है। भरत न केवल एक आदर्श भाई हैं, बल्कि भारतीय शिष्टाचार के भी प्रतिमूर्ति हैं। नन्दिग्राम में प्रवेश करते ही उन्होंने सर्वप्रथम गुरु वशिष्ठ और अन्य बड़ों को संबोधित किया, जो यह दर्शाता है कि राज्य संचालन के इस नए अध्याय का आरम्भ वे बड़ों के आशीर्वाद और साक्षी में करना चाहते हैं।
