न त्वेनमवगच्छन्ति गुणदोषमसत्स्त्रिय: ।
कामवक्तव्यहृदया भर्तृनाथा श्चरन्ति या: ॥ ॥२-११७-२४॥
Na tvenamavagacchanti guṇadoṣamasatstriyaḥ । Kāmavaktavyahṛdayā bhartṛnāthā ścaranti yāḥ ॥ ॥2-117-24॥
Translation
"But bad women, whose hearts are ruled by desire and who wander acting as their own masters over their husbands, do not understand this merit and demerit."

"किंतु, जो असती स्त्रियाँ हैं, जिनका हृदय कामवासना के अधीन है और जो (पति के होने पर भी) मनमाना आचरण करती हैं, वे इस गुण-दोष (धर्म के मर्म) को नहीं समझतीं।"
English Commentary
Anasuya contrasts the noble wife with Asat-striyah (unrighteous women). She describes them as Kamavaktavyahrdaya—those whose hearts are dictated by desire rather than duty. Such women do not comprehend the spiritual subtlety of virtue and vice (Guna-dosha). They act as Bhartrinathah—a sarcastic implication of women who try to lord over their husbands or act independently without regard for marital vows. Anasuya warns that when desire overrides duty, the sanctity of the marital bond dissolves, and the spiritual understanding of the husband's role is lost.

यहाँ अनसूया 'सती' और 'असती' स्त्रियों के बीच का अंतर स्पष्ट करती हैं। 'असत्स्त्रिय:' वे हैं जो धर्म के बजाय अपनी इच्छाओं ('काम') को प्राथमिकता देती हैं। 'कामवक्तव्यहृदया' का अर्थ है वे स्त्रियाँ जो वासना या भौतिक सुखों के कहने पर चलती हैं। ऐसी स्त्रियाँ पति के महत्व और पातिव्रत्य धर्म के गुण-दोष को समझने में असमर्थ होती हैं। वे 'भर्तृनाथा' होकर विचरती हैं, अर्थात वे पति को स्वामी न मानकर स्वयं पति पर शासन करने का प्रयास करती हैं या स्वेच्छाचारी होती हैं। अनसूया ऐसे आचरण की निंदा करती हैं।
