एवंविधाश्च प्रवरा: स्त्रियो भर्तृदृढव्रता: ।
देवलोके महीयन्ते पुण्येन स्वेन कर्मणा ॥ ॥२-११८-१२॥
Evaṃvidhāśca pravarāḥ striyo bhartṛdṛḍhavratāḥ । Devaloke mahīyante puṇyena swena karmaṇā ॥ ॥2-118-12॥
Translation
"And superior women of this kind, who are firm in their vows to their husbands, are honored in the world of gods through their own meritorious deeds."

English Commentary
Sita concludes her response by generalizing the principle. Women who are Bhartridridhavratah (firm in their vow to the husband) earn their status in Devaloka (world of gods). Crucially, she notes they are honored Punyan svena karmana—by their own meritorious deeds. This asserts that the spiritual merit generated by a devoted wife is self-created and independent. It validates her path as a valid method of yoga or spiritual ascension. Sita has effectively proven to Anasuya that she is a worthy disciple who fully grasps the nuances of Dharma.

सीता अपनी बात का उपसंहार (conclusion) करती हैं। वे कहती हैं कि जो स्त्रियाँ 'भर्तृदृढव्रता:' (पति के प्रति दृढ़ संकल्पित) होती हैं, उन्हें किसी अन्य की कृपा की आवश्यकता नहीं होती; वे 'स्वेन कर्मणा' (अपने स्वयं के कर्मों से) देवलोक में सम्मान पाती हैं। यह नारी सशक्तिकरण का आध्यात्मिक रूप है—स्त्री की शक्ति उसकी अपनी निष्ठा में निहित है। सीता के इन वचनों से यह स्पष्ट होता है कि वे वनवास को एक अभिशाप नहीं, बल्कि अपने 'पुण्य कर्म' अर्जित करने का अवसर मानती हैं।
